if kurt cobain saw all you hipster douchebags wearing nirvana shirts to look cool, he’d kill himself again.

yeah and if he saw assholes like you making ridiculous and pompous comments like this - not only insulting his death but alienating people (hint: the very reason he committed suicide - he’d probably be ashamed of his “true fans”

Everyone else was smoking, drinking, and doing drugs and I wanted to so badly.

and he held me and said no.

it was so perfect.

I am getting constantly more and more annoyed by girls who get summer job who don’t need the money.

The amount of provided for girls in my class that have jobs so that they can have spending money just frustrates me.

YOU DONT NEED IT AS MUCH AS OTHER PEOPLE.

Not only that, but they have the ability to apply to so many more places just because they are provided with a car and insurance by their parents.

Driving in a brand new car to a job for what? getting work experience? if you don’t get the job you can just walk back out to your fancy car and try again somewhere else. It no big deal because you don’t need the money to survive.

Other people applying for those positions are trying to feed a family on the minimum wage salary available.

I know it’s not fair to say only get a job when you are in some awful destitute situation, because obviously you avoid those situations by peremptorily having a job. but seriously. can we at least acknowledge the fact that there is a serious difference than your need to have spending money and a families need to have basic income for mortgage and utilities?

I met a women who retired as soon as she turned 65. she didn’t do this because she was lazy or old, but because she felt the obligation to make room for the new generation of employees that need the money more than she does. A lot of people would have said things like “but you might live longer and need the money”, if they were in her position.

I would say the key word in that sentence is “might”. Kids get jobs for “might“‘s instead of acknowledging the definite lack of job availability and the high unemployment rate of suffering families in the Houston area.
